WORK
So, life's been pretty busy lately, I've been working quite a bit at both of my jobs - Wendy's and a local gas station, a lot of people have quit or been fired and there's plenty of work. I've worked some long days, sometimes both jobs - some days, like yesterday, I worked thirteen hours at one job. I usually work on the register, but all next week at Wendy's I'm going to be working on the grill.
PHOTOS ON CANVAS
I wanted to get Mom something really special for Mother's Day, so I decided to get one of my photographs printed on a canvas for her to hang on the wall. I chose the photo of Waikiki from the top of Diamond Head, taken back in December when I was in Hawaii. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it turned out great - the photo really pops on the canvas, more so than on the computer screen.
FILMING FOR YOUTUBE
I'm preparing to film some new videos for YouTube. I've been wanting to do a video with toy trains for awhile, so I've purchased a few new trains on eBay and I'm planning to film a little something while on my next trip, if everything goes to plan, God-willing. Speaking of taking trips, I want to shoot some more vlogs and stuff while traveling. Finding time to edit is the problem, just like all the footage from all my previous trips, languishing on my hard drive!
THOMAS WOODEN RAILWAY
As I'd mentioned earlier, I've begun collecting trains again. Particularly, Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway. Recently discontinued, it's nice to preserve some for the next generation and I've been introducing my nephew to them... He spent all last weekend playing with them while I was babysitting him. :)
