Obviously, among fans of a show, we'll discuss favorite episodes, favorite seasons and so on... and I've never quite been able to decide when it comes to Thomas, seeing as it is my favorite show of all. Probably Series 4 or Series 3 if I absolutely had to choose, but, that being said - Series 1 of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends is also a strong contender. As with most shows, the first season is special.
Not only does the first series have the nostalgia factor, but the pure simplicity of the sets, the straightforward plots introducing beloved characters and Ringo Starr's narration - it's a thing of beauty!
